How to Unlock Fishing
Although you will come across various fishing locations early in game, fishing in Stellar Blade can not be unlocked until you first reach the Great Desert. More specifically, you will need to talk to Clyde in the Oasis to receive your fishing rod, bait, and your very first fishing side quest, “Looking Glass”.
Every time you catch a fish, you will receive Fishing Points, which is essentially currency to exchange for items in Clyde’s Fishing Hut.
How to Fish in Stellar Blade
To get started, you will want to first equip your fishing rod by opening the combat consumables wheel and selecting the rod.
Once equipped, quickly double tap the down d-pad to access your fishing baits and select the one you would like to use.
Once ready, flick the left stick back and forth to cast your rod and wait for a fish to fall for your trap.
